David manages external communications, internet activities, and marketing for the organization. David also represents OIDA at trade shows and is responsible for all levels of event coordination, including site selection, budgeting, and logistical needs for OIDA technical forums and conferences. David’s duties also include serving as onsite technical support, facilities coordinator and real estate liaison/broker for OIDA. David has been with OIDA since August, 1997. His professional experience prior to OIDA includes being a contract administrator, fraud specialist, and medical trainer with Cigna Group Insurance as well as a loan specialist with Mellon Bank. While working full time at Mellon, David obtained his bachelor’s degree in Business Communications from the University of Pittsburgh. He currently serves on many community boards and is the proud recipient of several awards, most notably, Anne Arundel County, MD’s Volunteer of the year award. As part of his volunteer experience, he has conducted and promoted many large and successful tradeshows and fundraising events.
