- Agenda (coming soon)
- Registration
- Travel/Venue
OIDA's innovative green photonics forums have become a focal point for photonics and optics in the area of sustainability. This, our 3rd annual forum on green photonics, brings together key players involved in developing the technical, business, and government roles of photonics in building a more sustainable and renewable future. Efficiency, monitoring, and energy generation are areas where photonics technology will play a key role and the photonics industry will deliver solutions.
Topics for this 1½-day forum include:
- SSL, light sources, displays, and photovoltaics for energy efficiency
- Sensors to enable critical environmental monitoring
- Solar energy and other energy-creating devices/materials
- Clean photonic manufacturing technology, such as lasers and LEDs
A few of the critical questions that will be answered: What areas of photonics will be the key ones to grow and nurture creative sustainable technologies? What technologies will best serve in various applications? Where are current R&D dollars focused? How important is diversification as a key to success? How are governmental regulations changing to support sustainable development? How can the various segments of green photonics cooperate and learn from each other?
Join our select group of industry experts as they explore the growing role of photonics in the sustainability portfolio, from market status and strategies to advanced materials and devices for next-generation products. They will share their knowledge and experiences during the regular, focused sessions and during lunch, breaks, and an evening networking reception.
The collaborative environment is ideal for exchanging ideas, meeting potential business partners, and productive discussions.
