We are pleased to provide OIDA members with this 200-page report on the discussions, presentations, and recommendations from the Perspectives on the Optoelectronics Industry forum held in the fall of 2007.

With over 100 attendees and a scope that covered six major themes in photonics applications, the forum brought together people from many industries to discuss opportunities both within and outside of their normal target businesses. The themes addressed at the forum and discussed in the report are:
